This yet unnamed peak deserves a good name as it's a very worthwhile activation. It's a bit out of the way but very quiet compared to nearby Lookout Mountain and the views on a clear day of Mount Hood are excellent. These are directions from the NORTH - this road is suitable for HIGH CLEARANCE vehicles that you don't much care about.

From Highway 35 east of Mount Hood, take Brooks Meadows Road or FS 44 east towards Dufur 1.6 miles to a right turn onto Road 4410. Take 4410 aka Lookout Mountain Road 4.7 miles to High Divide. You might also consider activating Lookout Mountain as that trail starts here.
From High Divide head south on Bennett Pass Road. This is a very rough road requiring a high clearance vehicle. Go 4.2 miles, passing Gumjuwac Saddle at about 2 miles.
The "trailhead" for the summit is in a small pull off (or camp) off Bennett Pass Road just past a talus cone near 45.3102 N 121.5718 W. Head to the back of this camp and take the trail heading south.
Continue on this trail, climbing gradually 0.5 miles until you reach an open area where the trail crosses over the ridge and trail levels out, near 45.3048 N 121.5773 W. Here turn back north and go cross-country uphill about one-tenth of a mile to the summit. There are trees for antennas and good spots to operate and fantastic views of Mount Hood on a clear day.
Alternatively, one can hike from Highway 35 up to Gumjuwac Saddle on Trail #480 and head south along the ridge on the Divide Trail #458 which parallels the very rough Bennett Pass Road. This is a long but excellent hike in the summer.
