See KJ7LSM's nice writeup of this summit. I'll only add that, in March 2025, the gate to the last leg of the road is closed (see the southernmost point of the hike, below, resulting in an 800 foot, 1.7 mile walk up the remaining gravel road. There's room for one or two vehicles at the Y in the road while still providing passage if someone with access wants to pass through the gate.

Some of the potholes on the way to the trailhead are unavoidable, and several were quite deep (10 inches?) and pretty short. Reasonable clearance is advised. There are some nice views along the way but no panoramas. The road eventually crosses the AZ, but we climbed up the hill to a ledge inside the AZ and activated from there, with the antenna stretching level across the road to a mast on the opposite side. The actual summit would've required a bush whack.

There's also a rather large waterfall (after a lot of rain, in March) along the drive up.
