This is an easily accessed peak in an area that's currently undergoing logging activity. We went up on a Saturday and had the place to ourselves. The peak and ridge is rocky with a few trees and lot's of deer and elk sign. There is a pleasant view mostly to the east. The activation area is large with plenty of room for a dipole antenna.
From Hwy 97 South of Peshastin, turn East up the Camas Creek Road and drive about 9 miles. Turn left to continue on Camas Creek Road at the Camas Meadows (Look for elk - we counted 15 in the meadow the previous evening). Drive .3 miles to a gated NF Road 200 on the left and park. From here, I'd plan on 45 minutes to the peak. Walk up NF-200 as it travels North and then West. Turn sharply right on the logging road which cuts back NE. It will climb and then turn NW. We left this road at about 3200’ following a game trail at first and then just continuing NW to the top. Light brush, easy to walk through on the final ascent.
