Here’s a near drive-up 2-point summit that might be part of your plan to visit the Redwoods in SW Oregon.

Drive south on US Route 199 about 23 miles from Grants Pass and take NF-4201 about 3 miles to $8 Bridge. From $8 Bridge continue on NF-4201 for 7.0 miles on a good gravel road. Then turn north at 42.2526,-123.75487 onto NF-4201-90 and proceed on a non-priusable track for 0.75 miles (you might walk from this point if you have a low-clearance vehicle). There is a disused road heading east where we parked and walked the 0.6 miles to the AZ. We did make one 2m FM contact, but you shouldn’t expect it.

You might also consider nearby $8 Dollar Mountain while in the area.
