Don't know This is an easy drive-up summit about sixty miles north of the center of Atlanta. There's even a deck and a folding chair for enjoying the views from this summit.
About 3.6 miles south of the 282 and 515 intersection in East Ellijay, Georgia, turn east from 515 onto Talona Mountain Road. It's paved the 1.8 miles to the summit - turn left at the T at the top to find the best places to activate. There are trees around the perimeter of the summit for rigging antennas.
I didn't experience any significant RFI from the nearby towers. I noted that there is a 2m repeater on 146.985MHz (- offset, tone 77.0Hz) but didn't use it or raise anyone on simplex from there.
