From I-15 (Exit 59 to Bannock) South of Dillon, drive west 13.8 miles on Hwy 278 and exit right onto the Taylor Creek Road. Follow this 0.4 miles and turn right (north) on the Badger Pass Road. We were only able to drive about 0.7 miles before the road was blocked by snow, but driving 2.0 miles would make the hike shorter. There is also a road junction at the 2.0 mile mark that is likely open to motorized use and would allow one to get even closer to the summit, but this should be verified. The hike is, in any case, a short one over rolling open sage country except for the final 400-feet to the summit, which is a steeper ascent through open forest. The Badger Pass road is suitable for all vehicles.
