SOTA Activities: SOTA has inspired me to relearn CW, a very fun mode and well worth the hours of practice. I'm enjoying my new Elecraft KX3 both for chasing and activating. I prefer taking my packgoats with me for SOTA whenever possible, however, many trails in Western Washington are closed to stock.

Bio: I have been licensed for 25 years, starting in high school with /P backpacking trips with our club leader and high school biology teacher. After many years of QRO, my interest has once again turned to /P, especially with the introduction of SOTA. 3rd generation ham. We have a small goat herd. My wife has the milkers and I have the boys for packing, a perfect compliment to SOTA.
