VE7 is having a Summit-to-Summit Party! Our last S2S Party, which was far too long ago, was a great success and tons of fun.
Sunday, 30th June at Noon local time – rain or shine; hopefully shine. Activators have already indicated participation from SOTA summits around the Metro Vancouver Region, up and down the Island, and the interior.
We are looking for any, and all fellow SOTA enthusiasts, across British Columbia, to participate. And, as always, we welcome our SOTA friends from the W7 side of the Pacific Northwest, to join in on the fun.
If you wish to participate, please post an alert on the new SOTAWatch (https://sotawatch.sota.org.uk), so we know you're out there. You can also share your plans on the VE7 SOTA Facebook Group. (Pick out a summit, note that the date is "30/6/2019", 1900 UTC, 146.58-fm, and put "BC S2S Party!" in the comment field.) While VHF is normally the primary means during these events, most stations will have, and be active on HF also. Our primary VHF frequency will be 146.580.
