Head north out of Metaline Falls on State highway 31 about 2 miles north take a right onto old Sullivan lake road. In 4.8 miles turn left onto FR 22 salmon Mtn lookout road, continue on for 12.5 miles turn right onto the Shedroof Mtn cutoff sign in 100 yards is the the trailhead. On top I had Verizon cell coverage no problem sending alerts. Don t forget the bear spray you are in bear country!
