This was a NYE 'double' activation, and the 2023 part of it got me to 2000 activator points! You can read WW7D's report of our adventure in the January-February-March 2023 PNWSOTA Newsletter:

This summit used to be a near drive-up in the summer, but the road is now closed to motorized wheeled vehicles at mile 3.8 due to a major washout. In the winter this summit is accessible via snowmachine. To get to the Glacier Creek Sno-Park, go 1 mile east of the town of Glacier, WA on Highway 542. Head south on USFS Road 39 and find the parking area in a mile or so. This is supposed to be a groomed trail system, but I suspect the washout is preventing the grooming equipment from accessing the trails. We saw no signs of grooming and had to stop ~2 miles short of the summit and snowshoe the rest of the way up.
Sno-Park Permit required November thru April or as posted. We had no cell service (AT&T and Verizon) but APRS worked well from this summit.
