This summit can be reached via the Crooked Tree Trail, which has a listing in AllTrails here: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/washington/cle-elum-ridge-via-crooked-tree-trail. We followed the directions in AllTrails to the trailhead. From downtown Roslyn, turn right onto E. Utah Ave. and then left onto N. A Street. Take a right onto E. Nevada Ave. and drive to the end of the road. There is a small parking area that is unsigned and fits about 3 vehicles. It is across the street from a house in a residential neighborhood. From the trailhead, follow the route in AllTrails to the ridgeline. Once at the top, AllTrails will direct you to the right, but the activation zone is to the left, about 2.5 miles from the trailhead. We used the SOTA Goat app to locate the activation zone. We had a very difficult time making the necessary 4 contacts, but eventually made 5 and activated the summit. 2 meter was very hard for us to make contacts on, so would recommend HF. Most of our contacts were mobile, driving along I-90 or hiking, and we had one Summit to Summit contact with KG7EJT on Beckler Peak (W7W/KG-086).
