A short, steep and rough climb will get you to the summit of Slide Peak. This is a good second activation for those heading to Stormy Mountain, W7W/CH-132.
A good place to start is Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park 20530 S Lakeshore Rd, Chelan, WA - it's not a bad place to stay either. From the park you go 0.4 miles west and then turn south onto paved Shady Pass Road and go 2.5 miles to veer left at a Y and head downhill. From here you'll be staying on the main track of Slide Ridge Road for 12.9 miles to the parking area. Don't let your GPS show you any shortcuts - the main track is mostly graveled and well graded. Still, the few rough sections are best navigated in a vehicle with high clearance.
You can start hiking towards the summit from the parking area at 47.9119° -120.2778°. The route is a bermed road that looks a bit unpleasant as it gains 650 feet in about 0.6 miles.
