Hoodoo Ski Area has lifts that can take you directly into the AZ during ski season - during the summer you'll need to park and walk from the gate shown in the photo below. The maintenance road is about 2 miles OW and 1000 feet of gain.

Muttonchop Butte, Oregon is west of the intersection of Highway 58 and Highway 97. The bushwack from the north was not pleasant, see if you can find the trail that leads to 0.5 mile west of the Quarry OHV area. Take Highway 58 4.2 miles from Highway 97 and turn left onto Road 5825. Follow to the Quarry OHV area starting from about here:43.3617 -121.8485.

Here are some confirmations/corrections: 1) You can indeed drive close to the summit and can access the actual summit with a high clearance 4x4, 2) The actual summit is not at the fence line but the SOTAMAPS location appears to be the accurate high point, and 3) The summit provides no place to attach an antenna mast and if using a mast guy lines are required.

Cady Mountain, W7W/RS-084 has been on my radar for a while. My wife's family owns a home in Friday Harbor so I have always wanted to activate this summit. I was bummed by ATN's report that it would be difficult to activate from the south side because of private property, so I did not think I could. I arrived here on Saturday and I started looking at GAIA GPS. I could see there was public property owned by the San Juan County Land Bank to the north of the summit that was still in the AZ. I could see a hiking trail just below it. I decided to give it a try.

Going South of Pocatello Idaho on I-15, also heading North on I-15 from Salt Lake City, take the Inkom Idaho exit. You will then need to take Rapid Creek road heading in a NE direction from Inkom. Rapid Creek Rd is a main road in Inkom. You will then go approximate 2 miles on Rapid Creek Rd until you see Inman Road on your right. Take this road another 2.5 miles and you will see a UTV/ATV Trailhead on your right. The pavement/oiled road ends here and turns into a dirt road. A 2 wheel drive can be driven on this road pass the winter gate.

This summit is accessed from Highway 20 in the Island Park area whether coming from the north or the south. The road west you take is marked as Antelope Flats Road and has a large historical marker at the entrance. This is a dirt/gravel road. On Memroial Day weekend torrential rain washed out a lot of the road. UTV/ATV, or 4wheel drive is highly recommendEd. You will pass one major intersection, but you just go straight. This road leads to the flats of course (don't take any of the side roads), where you will reach a “Y” intersection with signs.

This summit is located 6 miles East of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Take Highway 30 East towards Fish Creek Summit and turn South approximately 1 mile from Lava Hot Springs onto Baldy Mtn Road. Stay on the main paved road which heads South and the turns into gravel/dirt road.  Watch for a sign on your left that says State access 1.5 miles. You will come to a junction near 42.547° -111.900°.
